Not sure if this has been posted yet (couldn't be found on a search, but admittedly, my search-fu leaves a lot to be desired), but in my continual quest for odd/fun things to throw at my players, I came across an article that pointed me to this site:

Very neat site with tons of locations and relics that are just ripe for gaming use. Of course, some of them (Gates of Hell and the Ghost Cities of Chernobyl) are more modern than a typical HEX game would cover (although dates can easily be changed, especially in the case of the Gates of Hell).

Anyway, thought of these boards the moment I found the place.
