What are some supernatural monsters you would like to see in a supernatural
type setting, such as vampires and werewolves? _________________ Left no right, no your other left...

Pretty much anything really. I've been putting together some undead for a Egypt game. The Desolation rpg has stats for Zombies and Skeletons in the corebook, Vampires and Werewolves in the Survivors guide.
As far as what creatures, I'd say a Horror rpg would be a good start. I've toying around with the idea of converting monsters from the Rippers rpg. _________________ "When in doubt, have a man come through a door with a gun in his hand."

| If you're looking for a source on supernatural creatures, another (older) RPG that might be worth looking into is Chill. |

The upcoming All For One is going to be full of supernatural creatures, too, and they'll be written up using Ubiquity rules. _________________ "Nazis. I hate these guys."

I was hoping it would. Plan on doing some Solomon Kane high jinks with that book.

Well, it won't have everything in it. How about some Lovecraftian Horrors?

There's plenty of supernatural creatures that won't appear in All for One. Of the top of my head, here are a few.
Disembodied Brains
Be it a evil brain in a jar, to a nazi scientist who is no more machine than man. Disembodied brains are pulp staple.* Currently one of the villains I'm considering, will be the preserved brain of Thomas Edison. Using his belligerent personality, and some low level psychic abilities to enslave other scientists.
Mummy
Another classic monster that belongs in a pulpy game. Likely made popular through that series of movies starring Brendon Fraiser. Like the brain I'm not sure if mummies show up in the pulps. More often it is ghosts, vampires, or zombies.
Voodoo zombies
These have shown up in a couple of pulps that I've come across. You could have several variations on voodoo zombies. Living or unliving zombies.
Non-Western Monsters
One of the better books put out by Eden was their All Flesh Must be eaten Atlas of the Walking dead. It detailed zombie and vampire like monsters from around the world. Given the globe trotting nature of the pulps, encountering local monsters would be a must.
Non-Western Demigods
Creatures like Camazotz would be perfect for a pulp game. In fact, I'd strongly suggest going through the monsters encountered in the Hellboy and related comics. As an amateur folklorist I've recognized many of the creatures used in the comic, creatures based in Mythology.
* I'm not sure how true this is. While they show up in Hellboy and Atomic Robo, two comics that are clearly pulp inspired, I have not encountered a Brain in the Jar in my research. _________________ "When in doubt, have a man come through a door with a gun in his hand."

Another good source of non-Western mythological creatures is the Asian Bestiary, written by Mike Surbrook for Hero Games.
Thoroughly researched, it's got enough material to have been published in two volumes. Although the stats provided are for the Hero System, it's not hard to do the translations, even if you're not familiar with the RPG. _________________

Updated this thread with conversion guidelines for Unisystem to the Hex system. Unisystem has a wealth of monsters in both their Buffy and related games, as well as All Flesh Must be Eaten.

I actually have a journal filled with a few supernatural opponents here and there. Been working on them for my PbP If I get a chance, may have to compile and post them ... _________________
