Here is what I am thinking initially for time periods. I'd like to get these filled in completely, and then start adding more. Last year we had a lot of sessions that were either cancelled or ran with a bare minimum of players. To help combat that I would like to have us consider running fewer sessions than last year to help get our rate up on full games, and not cancel any games.

I think this schedule gives our GMS plenty of time to sleep, and enjoy night time social activities.

Rbree, perhaps a 2 hour session will help you?

I would like all the info ASAP. I don't want to get caught short like I did last year.

Sorry Shawn it's not the the game schedule as much as it just going to be a busy year and I think I'd rather go play and hang out with my son than run anything.

Shawn, are you also wrangling the TAG GMs for Wiggy this year?

Here is what I have been thinking:

Eye of the Gods – Part 1 (SW): Tomb of Osiris – An archeological team struggles to be the first to discover the mysterious Eye of Horus. They must prevail against Nazi competition and the hazards and guardians of the peculiar Tomb of Osiris. This is a standalone adventure but can be player in addition to other Eye of the Gods – Part 1 scenarios. These may be played in any order.

Eye of the Gods – Part 1 (HE): Valkyrie Gate– A group of castaways and Hollow Earth natives seek the Eye of Odin, to transport them from the Hollow Earth to the surface world. To reach the Atlantean gateway, the explorers must not only survive the hazards of the mountains but race against a Nazi expedition and win their way past the ancient Norse guardians. This is a standalone adventure but can be player in addition to other Eye of the Gods – Part 1 scenarios. These may be played in any order.

Eye of the Gods – Part 1 (Mars): Temple of Ares – An ancient map that reveals the location of the lost Eye of the Cyclopes, an artifact that holds the secret to travel from Mars to the Blue Jewel, Earth. To reach it, one must brave the mystery and dangers of the Temple of Ares within the Valley of the Apes. This is a standalone adventure but can be player in addition to other Eye of the Gods – Part 1 scenarios. These may be played in any order.

Eye of the Gods – Part 2: Vision of Conquest – Conclusion to the Eye of the Gods Cycle. Traveling through the Eye of the Gods was only the first step. A party of strangers must come together to save some friends and thwart an awakening ancient evil which poses a threat to two worlds. This adventure takes place after the events of Eye of the Gods – Part 1 (SW): Tomb of Osiris, Eye of the Gods – Part 1 (HE): Valkyrie Gate and Eye of the Gods – Part 1 (Mars): Temple of Ares.

I am still working on my scenario write ups, characters and some takeaways rewards that can be used to give a little boost if a player plays in multiple sessions of the cycle. I expect each of the part 1 variations would have 8 different characters available for play. (I plan to set the table size at 6 but like to leave some flexibility.) Each part 1 scenario is focused on a different environment; Surface World, Hollow Earth and Mars. Part 2 would allow players to choose from the pool of 24 characters, expecting a mix from all three environments.

I expect that Part 2 would be more fun for folks that have played one or more of the previous parts of the cycle. I am trying to decide if Sunday is a good time to schedule part 2 or if I should try to schedule a session of a part 1 and part 2 on Saturday. Right now I guess I will commit to the 2:00-6:00 slot Thursday-Saturday and the 10:00-2:00 slot on Sunday.

I think my maximum GM commitment is four games. As much as I love you guys and the game, I do expect to do other things at the con (like play). If anyone is interested in running one or more of these scenarios in addition to me, that would be great. Just let me know and I will share materials with you.

Hey Reaper,

I'm not doing the TAG stuff. I'd imagine they'd have someone handling their material that's more involved than I. I love their material, but haven't kept up on much this last year.

I am a bad person. Here is my schedule:

Thurs 12-4 To the Earth's Core!

Non-stop 1930's pulp action adventure! Pursue nefarious Nazis as their attempt to gain Lebensraum takes them within the depths of the earth itself. If you love movies like Indiana Jones, The Rocketeer, or Sky Captain, this is the game for you. This is an introductory adventure--pregenerated characters will be provided.

Thurs 4-8 Mad Science Institue Expedition

Author and game designer Sechin Tower-penned cross-over event in which the characters from his smash-hit novel “Mad Science Institute” must pit their courage, cunning, and ability to cause gratuitous explosions against an evil genius attempting to extract an ancient secret from the Hollow Earth.

Sat 12-4 Tubular Earth Expedition: Psionic Boogaloo

Short Description: A portion of the proceeds will benefit Gamers for Humanity.

It's the 80s all over again! Trapped in a totally bogus jungle, surrounded by gnarly beasts and these nasty dudes with spears who haven't heard of deodorant; worst of all, you're almost out of gas, and there's not a 7-11 in sight! And like any good 80s sequel, there's absolutely no need to have played the first one. This is an introductory adventure--pregenerated characters will be provided. Games for Gamers: A portion of the proceeds will benefit Gamers for Humanity.

Shawn, you'll need to bump up the ticket price of this one by $4 per person. More instructions are here: http://www.gamersforhumanity.org/documents/gamesforgamers.pdf

PM me if you need more details.

Sun 10-2 Nuclear Family Meet the Hunters of Mars!

There's no going home for this fabulous family of the fifties future. It's Mom, Dad and the kids vs. the most dangerous creatures the Red Planet has to throw at them. Nominally a sequel to Nuclear Family, but there is no need to have played the "pilot episode". This is an introductory adventure--pregenerated characters will be provided.

I am willing to be "on call" for pick-up games on Friday, or, if people still like the idea of character workshops, I could set some time aside for those as well, perhaps even as official 1-hour events.

I would be available for booth time Thurs. morning, Friday all day, or Saturday morning. I'll work up some of those 5-min. single scenes we talked about.

A friend of mine, Rich Debarba, has volunteered to run a Wilderness Kids game on Thursday afternoon (2-4, or 4-6), so long as he can set a couple spots aside for his kids. He can either ruin the alternate Prometheus Falls scenario I threw together a couple years ago, or something official.

What is still available? I would love to GM again. And more than willing to run four 4 hour sessions again this year. Planning on running 'Thule in the Big Apple' for two of them and working on a continuation of it for the other two.

EDIT: oh and I can booth babe as the Fortune Hunter, if you want.
