If there was a semi regular (3 or 4 times a year) publication of HEX related material and adventures, what would you like it to contain? i.e. full length adventures, single session adventures, articles, stories, artwork etc.

Would you like a mix of settings or a focus on just the hollow earth?

How big would you like the product to be? i.e. Letter-sized, 64 page

What formats would be desired? i.e. PDF, print, etc

What would you be willing to spend for each installment of such a product?

I think a good template for this would be Kobald Quarterly from Open Source ...

Ideally, for me at least, I'd like to see a HEX-based quarterly mag to include:
• Pulp Format (size, style, etc.).
• A regular serial (including stats for the main characters dashed throughout the run).
• Alternative/expanded rules for HEX.
• New Rituals/Psychic Powers/Weird Science.
• Bestiary/Foes in every issue.
• Pulp-style movie/book/comic/game reviews.

$3.99 an issue.

Alternatively, an Ubiquity Mag would also be cool, and could expand to include new settings, added support for other Ubiquity games, etc.

i think Sketchpad hit it right out of hte park there. a quarterly magazine would be interesting, but i'd like to see a content web page go up first. i know we have Danger Magnet, but things have been tough for Daniel, and there has not been a lot of contribution to that page. i have to show some concern about the content for a new printed "U-Mag."

I'd have to go with a quarterly Ubiquity mag instead of a HEX mag. With other settings such as All For One, Desolation, Leagues of Adventure (coming soon) and HEX, I think an Ubiquity magazine would be great.

I would definitely prefer a general Ubiquity mag over a HEX-centric one.

I know I would be willing to contribute material. And would also love to read the magazine.

What sketchpad said sound great. A regular influx of new monsters, magic and mad science would help keep things fresh. And extra adventures are great when you're out of ideas.

Anything I can contribute, I shall.

Quarterly sounds good, $4.99 an issue? Reasonable. Certainly what I would've paid for Danger Magnet.

I have plans. And ideas. And stuff generally bubbling around (though the tablets should clear that up). The name Ubiquipedia for a general Ubiquity website, not devoted to any specific game... Content could go in the magazine for 6 months and then go free to the site... Maybe...

I'd also favour a quarterly Ubiquity magazine. IF you're interested in help, I could do the layout (InDesign etc.)... Just let me know.

I would be less interested in adventures and more interested in locations; I find they take the most work to prepare. Like many of the other responses, I think such a product would be best served by allowing itself the latitude to highlight all Ubiquity games.

I would like to see maps, handouts (ticket stubs, documents, passport stamps, etc), travelogues, newspaper reports of strange phenomena, diary entries for Leagues and All for One, interesting characters and communities for Desolation, and so on.

Alternate rules often leave me cold, particularly as they tend to come from the creator's bias and try to fix something which might not be broken in all eyes, but I am open to the idea that I could be pleasantly surprised.

How seriously is this being considered? I agree a $3-5 price range would be worth it, but as Imagica suggested would like to see the material go on to build the Ubiquipedia or at least get collected at Mythic Eras (if it continues).
