| Reaper theres's only one version of Black Gold showing up in the main registration system as well. Not sure what you submitted but only one game seems to be scheuled. And on a different note... Do you have room for an extra seat for Pieces of 8 on Saturday? I grabbed three tickets but wound up havin 2 of myfriends join us... So as it stands you'll have 3 14 year olds... with me hanging around the sidelnes... But I'd much rather play. |

I reserve the right to seat a slush player if the other participants are amenable and the scenario allows it. In that case I'll take a generic ticket.
I hate turning people away.

You'll want to snag a bunch of comment cards to hand out, thankfully Nick and Shawn are usually around with a bunch.
As for dice and whatnot, it's best you provide your own that way you're not responsible for returning materials at the end of the con and/or keeping track of 'em between events.
If this is your first con make sure to bring extra copies of character sheets and handouts. Players love to spill soda and food on your materials, that's why I laminate my materials.
Feel free to hit on any of us old timers if you need to borrow anything or need help.
As for the Wednesday meet and greet, in years past there's been one at the Ram but I've never attended and I've been running HEX in an official capacity a year after the debut.
See ya soon!

Last couple of years, the Wednesday Meet and Greet has moved over to Scotty's Brewhouse, but I'll let the ones actually attending confirm that for this year. _________________

Hmmm...I think he's a spammer. I've looked at his other posts and they actually seem legit, except for a thread/post started about SWTOR. Time to take some practice swings... _________________ Kate Boone, Daredevil Pilot!

For all those that wish to be reimbursed for you badge:
Zombie, Reaper, and Arizona look to be our three that have earned free badges.
Please send me your e-mail so I can finish up the last minute paperwork. _________________ DANGER MAGNET! at WWW.DANGERMAGNET.COM is your source for a FREE Hollow Earth Expedition Electronic Magazine! |

Not that I mind paying for Gencon, but if I missed getting a badge by only 2 hrs (and that I offered to run additional games) I'm a little pissed. Based on the post this morning:

In the future, I would hope that the badge situation is established earlier than a couple days before the con. |

Shawn may still be out of it because of sickness. If this truly is the case, let's find something for you to do/run--if you still don't mind. _________________ Kate Boone, Daredevil Pilot!

Based on Running 3 4hour block of games at 6 people each you should be at the right ammount Zelgar. 3x4=12 X6players per game =72 hours.
EOs/GMs can earn 1 GM badge for every 70 player-hours worth of events they run. A GM can only earn 1 badge.
Each event generates a number of player-hours equal to its duration multiplied by the maximum number of players, as indicated on the event submission form.
Example: A 4-hour RPG for 6 players would generate 24 player-hours. A GM would need to run three such games to qualify for a GM badge (4 hours x 6 players x 3 games = 72 player-hours).
So your two hours over based on what was on the schedule. Plus all this wwas to have been turned into Gencon by June 1st for anyone to get there tickets... You should be OK if the figures from the first post were correct. |

Well, I'm running 2 4-hour events and 2 2-hour events all for 6 players, so Robin's calculations are still valid.
I'll be at the KFG Wednesday gaming tomorrow, so hopefully this will get resolved. I think Shawn was planning on being there as well. |

As I recall I was pretty clear that to get a free badge this year we asked all the GMS to run 16 hours of games. _________________ DANGER MAGNET! at WWW.DANGERMAGNET.COM is your source for a FREE Hollow Earth Expedition Electronic Magazine! |
