I'm betting a fair number of folks 'round these parts are familiar with Digging for the Truth on the History Channel. I thought I'd bring it up for those not so familiar. It's a well done show that's a combination of archaeology/anthropology, exploration and adventure that explores a wide range of subjects just brimming with ideas for pulp adventures. Just for example, episodes have covered the Lost Ark, the Mayan Underworld, Roanoke Colony, the Templars, (American) Indian mound builders, Patagonian giants. It's all over the map, literally.

That's a great example right there. You've got the Grail itself, Templars, Cathars, Nazis. Oh, the Grail and Nazis. I wonder where we've seen that before...? Surprised

So .. the Grail is an Atlantean artifact, with the Templars and the Cathars being off-shoots of the Terra Arcanum and deep in the bowels of the famous church in Scotland whose name escapes me now is an entrance to tunnels that lead to the Hollow Earth.

How am I doing so far? Razz
