It was waiting in my mailbox yesterday when I got home from work. I spent yesterday evening reading it. I am impressed with the quality and care that has gone into SotSW.
The rules for Supernatural Powers are especially impressive. They are easy to use and are an excellent fit for the Pulp Era. I also enjoyed F. Arkington's Emporium. The vehicle selection was really good and shows a great deal of research. All in all, I am a very satisfied customer.
Thanks to all the folks at Exile Games.

| So I am wondering, does anyone have the new edition and the Gen Con exclusive edition, was just wondering what the differences were? |

I do! I have both! And several of the fine gentleman on these boards will soon be in the same happy position.
The differences are almost exclusively cosmetic, though some of them did affect stats. Sorry for repeating myself if you already know this, but we had an astonishing number (hundreds is not an exaggeration) of errors introduced by layout and we were simply unable to catch them all. After 10 or so reviews, we stopped seeing them altogether. Thanks to the sharp eyes of a special group of people, we discovered the magnitude of it, stopped the presses (literally) and did our best to fix 'em all up. I've no doubt we missed a few, but it's a much shinier, happier book now.
You'll be pleased to hear that we're using a different layout person for Mysteries and we have safeguards in place to avoid the fiasco that we went through with Secrets. |

I'm glad to hear this, Mel, as I had been wondering about that myself. And my services are always available again, as per last time. _________________ "The pterodactyl swooped down and...well, let's just say that Loren

| Fwiw, I do quite a bit of proofreading, including for some RPG products, and would be prepared to help if you need that sort of thing. |

Mel so were all of these errors covered by the errata that you can download from the website?
That said I will probably double dip on this like others have. |

For the most part, yes. If it was a small cosmetic change, such as half of the word erroneously set in bold, we didn't include it in the errata. But anything you would possibly care about having been changed is listed.
Thanks everyone for your offers to help. I have a cadre of proofreaders lined up and I just added Monkeylite to the list. |

Isn't it obvius? Read the book aloud to him!
