In an effort to tidy up the DEMO forums I'll begin deleting old /dead threads on the DEMO section. If there is any particular message for an outdated demo please copy it and save it to your computer.

The clean up will begin:

Feb. 7th
12PM Eastern Standard time

There will also be a few stickys going up explaining the ins and outs of the DEMO TEAM, PRIZE SUPPORT, and EXPEDITION LEADER status.

If there are any requests to save any particular threads due to useful content please let me know.

Speaking for myself, my only comment here is that the threads that I've started announcing the demos that I'm running all contain the reports of those demos, and it would be a shame to lose that material. However, if you decide that you just have to get rid of stuff here, then I'll just save that stuff to files for my own, old reference.

It is possible to split off all the Demo Report posts into a separate thread so that they may be kept for prosperity. Maybe that is an option here.

Actually, yes, that might be the best option here. Depends how Shawn feels about it.

I'll probably try and split off the reports into a Scenario Report area which would be GREAT in the scenario section that I'm pushing for.

That was my immediate thought upon reading the first post of this thread: including a scenario report topic in the scenario section.

Threads could even be titled by the Scenario being reported on (e.g., Embrace of the Zombie).

Oooh! <rubs hands> This is exciting! Smile

Hey! Chocolate-covered pretzels're my schtick! Go find yourself another bribe! Mad

Now that I think about it, I wouldn't want to be responsible for depriving BB from getting some. She might hurt me.

Shocked

You go right ahead, Shawn. Don't mind me.

Very Happy

No, you're right Nestor. You already are on chocolate covered pretzel bribe duty.

But did somebody say ice cream? Cool

Several threads have finally been deleted. I gave it a month longer than originally announced to make sure that some of the threads were really dead.

Deleted threads were deleted because they were no longer relevant or out of date ads for demo games that had already occured.

I'll begin splitting off demo reports and placing the write ups in the Dangerous Journey's section soon.

If you have comments or questions I'll happily reply.

Glad to hear that you've finally deleted some of the old stuff from the Games & Demos section here. My only comment is that I tend to put the demo report and all and comments to what folks thought about the demo in the same thread as the announcement of the demo and all. Hope you've saved some of that stuff. Smile

I haven't deleted any threads that had reports in them. I plan to split off the demo report into a new thread over on the Dangerous Journeys area. Then I'll delete the thread here.

Ah, okay, good stuff. Just thought it needed to be pointed out. Smile
