There are 2 mes- the pre 14 overweight, monstermovie obsessed outcast geek. And the 14+ grew a foot dropped 80 pounds and found if I could keep em laughing I wouldn't get beat up as much... class-clown me. Which one do you want? |

I agree. Both types sound like perfect archetypes for this sort of thing. _________________

Ok Here's the teenage me- First a little background...
Grew up in a mining town in WV late 60' through the 70's. From o to 12 we lived in neighbor hood with only 9 other families... there were no ther kids my age .. closest were 3 years younger so I grew up book/movie and TV obsessed... mostly Horror and Scifi Movies... Universal,Hammer and To Ho. I was fat had glasses by 4th grade and generally un social... liked animals more than people.... and thought that being smater than evverybody else was the way to go... at 12 we moved to the other side of the mine to a neighborhood of 20+ faamilies and suddenly I had to fit in... be came active and lost weight... got in a ton of fights... found out that funny and dumb was a better way to fit in than smart and smug... and fell in with a lot of kids who blew thing up cause there wasn't much else to do. A lot of free time and acces to explosives... black powder/ welding gas/ carbide... is a dangerous thing. Spent a lot of time up in the hills hiking and hanging out... and trespassing on company property. And no I had nothing to do with thah missing bulldozer. So here's me after a few years after the move...

Hey Shawn,
I don't mean to be a pushy Canadian or anything , but I'm considering trying out the Wilderness Kids adventure at CanGames in May. Any chance you'll have the PCs done up by then? _________________ Steven P. Ross

Yes, I'll be taking a week or two off of the boards (coming up shortly) to specifically catch up on this sort of thing. It's time to clean out my "in box" of stuff and get some things done before taking on any new groovy things that catch my eye.
I'm very much that person that is distracted by shiney objects.
HOW MANY CHARACTERS SHOULD WE HAVE FOR THIS DEMO?
I'm thinking 5 girls and 5 boys.
I'll be using quite a few listed and posted here, and tweaking them. Otherwise all the boys are intelligent geeks _________________ DANGER MAGNET! at WWW.DANGERMAGNET.COM is your source for a FREE Hollow Earth Expedition Electronic Magazine! |

Funny thing about that, eh?
If we can assume the five of one gender are not just copies of the other gender's five, that should work.
I usually list 6 as my player number, then plan for 8, but that's just me. The point is you should always have at least two more sheets ready than the number of players you have listed, to handle any last-minute additions and "can my friend play, too" situations. _________________

Six of each it is.
I'll see if Charlie Bannanas has an appropriate sheet for the kids, and then I'll try to PDF it up, and then fill it in. _________________ DANGER MAGNET! at WWW.DANGERMAGNET.COM is your source for a FREE Hollow Earth Expedition Electronic Magazine! |
