I've created a first draft for a generic Ubiquity 1.0 character sheet that can be artistically changed to fit the type of game. This is the bare bones/generic sheet. Thoughts?

I like it a lot. Having everything on one page is a big plus in my book.
Critiques:
-I don't see a spot for stun or knockout ratings. This isn't that big a deal for me, and something I can live without.
-I really do like having Passive and Active Defense listed seperately, as well as the full defense. Yes, passive and active are easily figured out (body and dex) but things like armor can figure in, and it's just nice to have on there.
-I don't get how range+rate of fire=speed. I'm guessing that's just a typo from copying over the format from the line above. Eliminate the + and = signs and it would be fine.
-I really like the health meter on the side.
I've been tinkering with a sheet of my own but haven't gotten too far. Thanks for doing this up! Rep point coming your way. |

| Oh yeah, and experience. Maybe cut the Style box in half and put style in the top and XP in the bottom. |

Pretty nice Emu. I pretty much echo what the others have said so far. Another suggestion
I'll add a couple things on the Health track. It might be worth putting actual numbers in the circles. Also, with Talents, it's possible to get to what, -11 Health? Might be worth having a grey block below the "black 5" to accomodate this. _________________ - Daniel Potter (MYTHIC ERAS)

I've made a few updates, and the first post has been updated.
-Stun is listed (STN), but not knockout.
-I didn't split up the Defenses as a style choice by me. This is intended to be a very basic sheet that experienced (or at least familiar) players would use.
-The ROF+RNG=SPD was indeed a copying error on my part.
-I decided to keep just the 5 "Evil" boxes, as characters that have Talents that would change that are the exception, not the norm. I figure they can handle that. _________________

Very nice - I like the nice, clean look and organization. Only criticism - I agree w/ Dan about the Passive and Active Defense boxes. It's no big deal for an experienced player, but it's easier on newbies...
What about the back of the sheet?
If there's no plan to leave it blank, I'd suggest some or all of the following:
- A space for a physical description of the character (or a picture?)
- Space for brief descriptions of the effects of Talents, Resources, and Flaws (for new orforgetful players)
- Extra Weapons boxes (for the gun bunnies among us... )
- A space for character background
- Space for character vehicle notes (vehicle, mount, pet, etc....) _________________ "I think a plan is just a list of things that don't get done" |

Looking good, dude. I do have a couple of suggestions, too.
1. Change 'Character' to 'Name'. Makes a little more sense in my eyes that way.
2. Expand the Talents/Resources box to fill in some of that white space. Flaw gets a whole big line to itself, so sending a little more love the way of T/R would be nice _________________ "Nazis. I hate these guys."

Steampunk Ubiquity?!?!
Post mods in the Worlds! Now! Right now! Before you've even read this! No, stop doing that and start typing! Well? Are you still reading this?
BTW, cool sheet! *Yoink*
Don't suppose you'd upload the PSD, PNG, whatever-master-file-you're-using? I have a cunning plan for a customisable PDF character sheet where you get to pick borders, colours, etc... Now, where's my copy of Acrobat Pro... _________________ Just remember who’s standing in your way, remember every black day I ever stopped you and then—AND THEN—do the smart thing: let somebody else try first. |

Well, the Steampunk campaign (Dreams in Steel and Steam) is not my baby but my friend Morgan's. He just joined the forums as Phelan, and I'll point him here.
The generic Ubiquity 1.0 sheet PDF can be found here.

Greetings,
I was directed here to be fed to the ravenous horde desirous of my Steampunk Ubiquity setting.
Unfortunately I don't have much put together yet, just a timeline, a general idea of how I wanted to run the game, and some background information about the decade and the second industrial revolution in general.
I've planned on putting it all together and submitting it here once I've gotten enough to fill more than a single page.
Also, suggestions, recommendations and your weird science inventions are always welcome, so feel free to fire off ideas at me. I can always use the help. _________________ Matthias Coalburn: The Fatally Honest Mechanic with a Terrible Secret!

By all means, please send up your timeline and ideas.
