Recently published for Call of Cthulhu by Chaosium Inc. Its quite a hefty tome and covers the area of East Africa in detail, the period of course is the 1920's-1930's. Quite handy for HEX players on the surface its notes on different tribal structures and cultures would also be useful for running interaction with tribes in the Hollow Earth.
Also of interest are the details on the towns of East Africa in the 30's and the KAR, Kings African Rifles, the next thing to a police force there is.
My main reason for posting about it is the first adventure inside 'Madness of the Ancestors'; with a few cosmetic changes it is a perfect crossover HEX adventure, I don't want to give the details of the plot away but it would be a great way of getting a group from the surface to the Hollow Earth at the start of a campaign, minus all that equipment players like to carry around with them.
My group are already in the Hollow Earth so I tweaked the adventure a bit more and borrowed from the most recent 'Time Machine' machine film for the bad guys. All in all it seems to be going well. _________________ Quiet now... we don't want it to hear us.
